There are a number of nuances that you may choose to add to the 1930's system yourself.

We have found the following factors as having an influence when following the system:-

* No hurdles or similar type events to be bet upon.  We will not select horses on this website using these events.

* 2 year old races have been inconsistent with results.  This website will select the 2 year olds, it is your decision as to whether you sit out the race, reduce your bet or take these events into account when assessing the worth of the system.

* Slow or heavy tracks may affect the 1930's system selections as it is a mechanised system that may have horses that are not used to racing in wet conditions.  It does pay to check the form of the horse on wet tracks prior to betting.

COMMENTS

There are significant benefits in using a mechanised method of betting.  It means that there are a number of qualification criteria that each horse must be judged through.  The odds are totally irrelevant to the selection and generally the amount bet is not influenced by the short/long price of the selection.

Another major benefit is that mechanised systems provide you with a disciplined form of betting.  Done properly, you may generally have anywhere from 0 to 5 bets per Saturday, thereby giving you the discipline to refrain from additional and ambiguous bets thereby allowing you to develop a betting plan that is commensurate with your budget.
